What the Hunt Involves

This scavenger hunt isn’t your typical list of items to find. Instead, it combines holiday-themed items, both traditional and not-so-traditional, with fun challenges that get everyone laughing. For example, you might be asked to snap a photo of a classic Christmas decoration or find something with an unconventional holiday twist. The app tracks your photos and responses, awarding points for each completed task.

The challenges are designed to be light-hearted, encouraging team collaboration and creativity. Some tasks may involve performing silly holiday-related activities, which can really bring out the laughter and camaraderie. These challenges are great for creating lasting memories, especially when everyone is in good spirits.

Scoring, Leaderboards, and Competition

One of the most appealing aspects is the leaderboard feature, which lets your team compare scores with others playing across different locations. While competing isn’t the main goal for everyone—it’s more about fun—the added incentive can motivate your group to push a little harder to find items or complete challenges.

Duration and Group Dynamics

The activity is designed to last about an hour, making it a perfect fit for a quick holiday outing. Because it’s a private experience, only your group participates, ensuring a more personalized and relaxed atmosphere. This duration is ideal for a lunch break, a pre-dinner activity, or a short afternoon diversion.

Value and Cost Analysis

At just $20 per group, regardless of group size up to ten people, the Holly Jolly Hunt provides excellent value. Considering the usual cost of holiday activities, this scavenger hunt offers quality entertainment without breaking the bank. The price covers all activities, taxes, and the remote guide, so there’s no surprise expense.

Practical Considerations

• You’ll need to bring your own smartphone to participate, which is standard these days but worth noting if traveling with a less tech-savvy group.
• No transportation is included, so you’ll want to plan how you’ll get to and from the starting point.
• Since the activity operates during daylight hours—9:00 AM to 5:00 PM—you’ll want to schedule your hunt accordingly to make the most of the daylight and holiday atmosphere.
