I had visited Beylerbeyi Palace a few months ago. The management, I think, views this palace as a kind of treasure, allowing only guided tours and making you wear protective shoe bags. That being said, the palace is certainly amazing, to say the least! It has large windows that face the sea, ceilings that are beautifully decorated, and antique furniture inside that reflect the Ottoman architecture and style. No photos are allowed inside the palace though but I could not stop myself from imagining the wonderful splendor of the palace during its heydays.
This is a magnificent palace located in Istanbul. We had hired a guide to give us a tour of the palace. It’s best that you request the guide to take you from the hotel to the palace. The reason is that the palace is located on the Bosphorus Sea and is a little difficult to get to, since the exits have a number of tricky turns. This palace reflects rich heritage of the magnificent Ottoman Empire that once ruled over a large territory. All the rooms are nice and the grounds outside are lushly landscaped that looks magnificent.
Everything was well maintained and preserved in the palace. I was certainly delighted with the tour guide who was assigned to us for the tour. She provided complete detail about the history of the palace. I had a great time taking the tour. I suggest others should also visit this site as they will also have a wonderful time exploring the history and architecture of this marvelous structure.
Beylerbeyi Palace is a lovely Ottoman palace. It took us around half an hour to visit the building with a guided tour. The gardens outside are nice and there is a cafe nearby where you can sip coffee while viewing this splendid Ottoman architecture.
I visited Beylerbeyi Palace some months back. It is a beautifully furnished summer Palace. I had never imagined the grandeur and opulent splendor with which the Ottoman rulers had lived until I visited this palace. The location of the palace next to the sea is simply glorious. Right from the imposing entrance to the lush green landscape outside, everything looks ostentatiously charming and magnificent.
