We used our BOGOF voucher to visit Dubai Aquarium with our two children. The kids really enjoyed visiting the aquarium as well as the underwater zoo. We walked straight inside the aquarium without having to wait outside in a queue. We made our way through the tunnel where we were impressed with the array of fishes swimming above us. Afterwards, we visited the underwater zoo that was a hit with our kids. They touched the starfish, gazed at the crocodile and other creatures on display in the underwater zoo. You can also find a gift shop at the end of the tour of the aquarium where we found that the goods weren't priced badly at all. On the whole, I was very pleased with our visit to the Aquarium. Though I advise that you visit the place in the early morning and avoid visiting on weekends if you want to avoid queues.
We visited Dubai Aquarium during the afternoon when it was raining outside. I have to say that the visit was certainly a pleasant one for us. The aquarium has many different sea species. We spent around two hours gazing at the underwater creatures inside the tunnel. The kids also liked viewing various sea creatures inside the aquarium. Although I agree with Amy Hayman that there aren't a lot of things to do with kids. It would be nice if the place included a kiosk that provided information about the various fishes that swim inside the aquarium.
Dubai Aquarium is certainly a good place to visit with the family. The place does not have many things to do with kids, but I feel the visit was an inspirational one for them. You can see one of the largest suspended aquariums that allow you to discover exotic underwater marine life. I especially like visiting the Rocky shore and the rainforest. The mesmerizing aquarium is located inside the Dubai Mall. You can also watch the aquarium for free from the outside. But I think the best way to experience it is to buy a ticket, which also includes access to the Underwater Zoo that is located upstairs.
