I visited Dubai Creek during my last visit to the Emirati city with my family. Here, you can watch the past collide harmoniously with the modern metropolis. The area looks antique with local dhows that visitors can ride for only 1 Dirham. Moreover, there are a lot of things to do with kids here as well. From magic shows, fun filled cruise rides, to a relaxing walk near the creek, you will find many activities to bond with the kids. I suggest that visitors should start at the textile souk and then take a stroll towards the ocean. If you don't like walking, you can also take a bus from the main Gold Souk bus terminal.
I visited Dubai Creek with my family, and I have to say that it was a beautiful evening that was well spent. The weather was certainly wonderful. We enjoyed delicious food at the restaurant located nearby while listening to beautiful music. I also recommend that people visit the local souk market where you are sure to find a souvenir that you can take back home. You can also find things to do with kids in the area. Kids can also enjoy the Magic show that takes place regularly near the area. Also, both adults and kids can enjoy watching the Tanura Dance during the Dubai Creek dhow cruise.
Dubai is a beautiful and modern metropolis that looks very western. That's why it was pleasant to visit Dubai Creek as it seemed more traditional where people can take a ride across the river on local boats called "dhows". We paid only 1 Dirham for the boat ride that takes about five to seven minutes. It provides a local experience that is hard to find in other areas in the Emirates. You can also find things to do with kids here as well.
