@ Beatrice Hall Ok, thanks for the detailed information. I will certainly try to visit the fountain during my short stopover in the city.
@ Antoine Laurent I recommend that you certainly visit the fountain at least once during your stay in Dubai. I believe it is the largest fountain system that is choreographed for display for the public. The fountain itself is set on an artificial lake that spreads over 30-acres. You can hear loud booming noises - similar to the sound of the fireworks - when the water is shot upwards. I am sure you will enjoy watching the spectacular display.
@ Beatrice Hall I will be visiting Dubai for a short stay in the coming months, and was wondering whether you can tell me if it is worth a visit? I may not have time to watch every attraction available in Dubai.
Awesome! This is the first word that comes to my mind when thinking about the Dubai Fountain. It is certainly remarkable to watch the magnificent water show. I recommend that you should take the time to visit the place every time you visit Dubai. I have visited the fountain multiple times during my ten day stay in the city, and viewed about three different displays of the fountain. I recommend that you watch the display while standing in front of the Burj Khalifa for the best view.
I came to know about the Dubai Fountain when my cab driver told me about a fountain that danced. This greatly increased my curiosity and I decided to watch the strange spectacle myself. You can imagine my wonder and amazement when I did actually watch the spectacular display. I have found nothing like this anywhere else in the world to date. If you are in Dubai, you should visit the fountain at least once and be mesmerized by the fantastic display of the water.
You can find the Dubai Fountain near Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. I found watching this "dancing fountain" quite mesmerizing, which I think should definitely be in the list of modern wonders of the world. You can watch fountains literally dance in front of your eyes. The total spectacle runs for about thirty minutes. At night, it looks quite mesmerizing and beautiful when lit by light.
