I had visited this grand mosque in Dubai some years back and really enjoyed the experience. Although you need to cover your head in order to enter it, but I think it's worth visiting just so that you can experience the grandeur of the place.
I had visited Jumeirah Mosque with my husband some months ago. It is a wonderful place where you can experience firsthand, the culture and religion of the local people. The inside of the mosque is beautifully decorated with chandeliers, calligraphic art, and traditional lamps. There is a separate prayer area for both men and women. The mosque seemed very quiet and peaceful to us. I recommend that others should visit this place to experience the charm and magnificence of the place.
I heard about Jumeirah Mosque from a friend who told me that non-Muslims are allowed to take a tour of this magnificent mosque. The mosque certainly looks imposing from the outside. But it's the inside that captures the most awe and amazement. We opted for a tour guide that lasted around 45 minutes, snapping pictures of anything that captured our interest. To enter the mosque, I had to be dressed modestly and leave my shoes outside. The management also organize a cultural breakfast, lunch and dinner inside the mosque where you sit in a traditional manner and sample local delicacies. I suggest everyone who is visiting Dubai should visit this mosque to deeply experience local culture and religion of the place.
Jumeirah Mosque is a beautiful mosque located in Dubai. We entered the mosque with a tour guide and took a lot of pictures. They permit photography so you can take snaps of the magnificently decorated insides of the mosque. We were especially impressed by the imposing chandeliers inside. The mosque itself is located near to other popular areas in Dubai. In fact, the Burj Al Arab is located at a walking distance of the mosque. Note that you must be modestly dressed to enter the mosque and also, you have to take off your shoes before entering it. You can opt for a tour guide or visit the mosque yourself. Overall, you will enjoying taking a tour though.
