@ Morgan Sanchez I completely agree with your viewpoint. I visited this grand mosque in Abu Dhabi with a friend last year. It is a beautiful place and marvelous both inside and out. Though, we did felt very uncomfortable having ourselves fully covered during the intense heat, but it was really worth it in the end. I think it's best that you visit the place with a guide to avoid any inconvenience.
@ Oscar Goodman We should respect the culture of other people when they extend their hospitality to us. You won't have to purchase any additional piece of clothing to cover yourself to enter Sheikh Zayed Mosque. You can find a store located nearby that will provide you the required clothing for rent.
@ Morgan Sanchez Ok, thank you for mentioning about this. I surely will visit this place on my next trip to the capital city of Abu Dhabi. But is it really necessary for non-Muslims to cover themselves in such a fashion?
@ Oscar Goodman Yes! You should know that Sheikh Zayed Mosque is place of worship for Muslims. Due to this, women are required to wear long trousers or skirts when entering the place. Moreover, they should keep their hair and arms covered. Men should also wear pants and full-sleeved shirts when entering the mosque.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque is one of the most extraordinary architecture in Abu Dhabi. I couldn't help but marvel at the wonderful craftsmanship of the architecture. You should respect their dress code when entering this place of worship. I think it is certainly worth a visit when on a visit to Abu Dhabi.
