Jukanoo is a street parade that is celebrated in the Bahamas every year on Independence Day (July 10) and on a few other different holidays including New Year's Day (January 1) and Boxing Day (December 26). The fantastic event featuring cultural dance, music, and lively customs take place in different places in the Bahamas the largest of which occurs in Nassau harbor.

The roots of the cultural parade remain a subject of debate. Although most say that the event originated during the days of the slavery.
