Mandelieu-la Napoule is a cooperative in the Alpes-Maritimes division in southeastern France, situated on the French Riviera just towards the southwest of Cannes and upper east of Théoule-sur-Mer. It is known for the Château de la Napoule, an invigorated manor of the fourteenth century. In the twentieth century, Henry Clews Jr. (child of the affluent New York investor Henry Clews) and his better half Marie Clews, completely remodeled the château which they then occupied. The château was before an antiquated establishment, then a medieval fortification of the Counts of Villeneuve. Today the Roman Tower (fourth century) and the Saracen Tower (eleventh century) are all that stay of the château that was obliterated amid the French Revolution.
