The Interior of the tomb is as majestic as its exterior. The tomb still has the sarcophagus of Emperor Khai Dinh. The Palace, meaning the top floor, is a sight to behold in itself, the walls embellished with porcelain decorations and intricately designed glass while the ceiling here is adorned with nine dragons.

If you step outside the Imperial tomb, you will find a number of statues in the courtyard such as the House of Mandarins and Pavilion of Steles. Once you cross the gateway to the Imperial town, you will come across 37 stairs. The most striking feature of the stairs is the handrail that has been carved in the shape of dragons.
