1. Eden Court Theatre - Inverness

Eden Court Theater is a large entertainment venue that is located in Inverness in Scotland. The place is situated near the banks of River Ness. After the recent refurbishment and extension, the theater has become one of the largest art centers in Scotland featuring two dedicated theaters, cinema screens, and performance studios, as well as bar and restaurant facilities. The two main theaters located here known as Empire Theater and One Touch Theater have a combined seating capacity of more than 1,000 guests. Moreover, the two cinemas called the La Scala and the Playhouse, together, can accommodate about 200 people. Eden Court Theater features a motorized center that can be moved and adapted for different performances. Upper tiers of the theater are intentionally left dark that gives a more intimate feeling to the guests. Restoration work of the theater has brought back many of the former Victorian glory. The new entrance and lushly landscaped ground allow visitors to fully enjoy a riverside setting. Over the centuries the structure served different purposes including a Hanoverian Fort before being converted into the present neo-Norman red sandstone castle. Foundation of this imposing building was laid in 1866, and the construction was completed in 1869. Visitors can find many things to do in Inverness Cathedral. Most visit the place to admire the magnificent design of the building. Built in pink sandstone, the architecture is Gothic in style with imposing arches and large windows. The building would have been even more stunning if the spires of the original design had been built atop the west towers, but the funds available at the time of construction did not allow it.
