The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino is located in Las Vegas between the Palazzo and Harrah’s that is situated on the east of the Las Vegas Strip. The place was designed by Kling Stubbins and the structure consists of 36 floors that rise to a height of 475 feet. The Venetian resort complex is one of the biggest complexes in the city with 3,068 suites and 4,049 rooms and a casino that occupies a total area of 120,000 sq feet. The history of the place dates back to 1996, when plans on constructing the largest resort on the strip were announced by Sheldon Adelson.

The construction work that cost around $1.5 billion, took place for three years and the place finally opened up in 1999. The inspiration of the design was taken by the structures in Italy that include the Lion of Venice Column, the Column of Saint Theodore, St Mark's Campanile, Piazzetta di San Marco, Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, and the Rialto Bridge.
