Best attractions to visit in Los Angeles

11. Rodeo Drive - Los Angeles

Rodeo Drive

Beverly Hills, California is renowned for its array of luxury hotels, shopping boutiques, and elite residential community. But what makes it truly spectacular is the two-mile long street of Rodeo Drive. Drive along the stupendously well developed roads and buildings on the street and witness the deluxe community of Hollywood’s most well-known actors, actresses, and other personalities. Its early history dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when Burton E. Green, a famous real estate developer, along with other investors, purchased a property that later became Beverly Hills. However, what really morphed the two-mile street of Rodeo Drive a fashion extravaganza was the opening of Beverly Wilshire’s new wing in 1971. Afterwards, the Rodeo Drive committee initiated a campaign to morph Rodeo Drive into an upscale street that would launch Beverly Hills as an affluent and luxury residential community and shopping haven. Rodeo Drive debuted as the international fashion street after the opening of the ‘Rodeo Collection’ in 1983 gained immense positive reception. Today, Rodeo Drive is known for showcasing the best of luxury shopping and living. Every year, a number of events are organized on here including the Concours d'Elegance, Fashion, Festival of Watches and Jewelry, and Fashion’s Night Out among others.
