Oceanographic Museum of Monaco is a must visit site for anyone who has an interest in the environment and in the oceans. It was established in 1910 and has been updated and renovated since then. The collection of this museum is enthralling, and it covers many aspects of the oceans. The basic attraction here is the fishes. There are some very exotic fishes and other sea animals within the aquarium. This place is also great for families, as kids are sure to enjoy all the fishes and the exhibitions and displays within the museum. There is also an exhibition about Prince Albert I, since he loved to sail and to discover the oceans. There is also a section dedicated to things usually found in the ocean, like ships, sea tools, weapons, and much more. We really loved the skeletons of the sea animals on display in the exhibit; they allow you to understand these animals much better, because you get to see how they move. The building of the Oceanographic Museum is also a beautiful and imposing site. Do not leave this off your things to do list if you are in Monaco.
