Situated on the place de l’Hôtel de Ville in the 4th arrondissement, this hotel is home to the City Council since 1357. It was burned by the Paris Commune and rebuilt by Théodore Ballu and Edouard Deperthes in1871. It has a neo-renaissance architecture style and is considered as a very important touristic place.
