Villa Borghese is the biggest open park in Rome. The Park is home to numerous galleries and museums, it includes as well as, sanctuaries, wellsprings, sculptures, and a lake.
In the sixteenth century, Villa Borghese was a vineyard when the nephew of Pope Paul V, the Cardinal Scipione Borghese turned it into a park.
