Things to do in Simiyu - Serengeti National Park

A national park in Tanzania, the Serengeti National Park is located within the regions of Simiyu and Mara. The park is a part of the Serengeti ecosystem and is famous for the annual migration of more than 1.5 million brindled or white bearded wildebeest with a numerous amount of Nile crocodiles and around 25,000 zebras. It is indeed a great spectacle to behold, along with being a critical part of the park’s natural ecosystem. It is also the longest and the largest migration of wildlife to take place in the world.

The entire park covers an area of around 14,750 square km of land, which includes the savannahs, grassland plains, woodlands and riverine forests.
