The Al Mina Archaeological Site is dating to 3,000 BC, these environmental remnants cover an expansive zone driving down to an old submerged harbor. Highlights incorporate a road cleared with geometrical Roman and Byzantine mosaics, on each side of which are lines of substantial sections. Watch out for the bizarrely expansive open Roman bathhouse from the second or third century AD and a fourth century rectangular field that would have held up to 2000 onlookers, maybe to watch some kind of antiquated water brandish. A five-minute walk north of the primary Al-Mina site conveys you to the remnants of a twelfth century Crusader house of prayer, alongside a system of Roman and Byzantine streets.
