Walvis Bay is located in Namibia and is the name of a prominent bay in the area. It is a small and charming settlement within the Khomas region. The town also has an air strip which is frequented by self flyers and tourism operators. With a sparsely populated surrounding area, this settlement naturally attracts a lot of traffic from travelers and tourists in the area. It is the only settlement to offer proper town amenities between the coasts of Walvis Bay, and the dunes of Sossusvlei.
