Loorenkopf

If you want a spectacular view of the Swiss countryside, climbing to the top of the wood lattice tower called Loorenkopf tower will do the trick. The best news is that the tower is owned by the government of Zurich that has allowed open access to it for the masses. The massive 33 meter high tower attracts visitors in droves and particularly those who wish to get a bird’s eye view of the terrain.

The only thing to do in Loorenkopf is to climb the 153 steps that can take you to the top and to the aforementioned view.
