Swan Valley is the destination that has people coming back to it time and again. The place is located towards the northern side of the city. Swan Valley is Western Australia’s oldest and most visited wine region. On your list of things to do in Swan Valley, you really must add a trip to the boutique wineries. But this is just not a wine tasting avenue; you get to follow the famous wine trail and get to pick a restaurant or a relaxed café. If you don’t want to stop and indulge in any of these, there is always the roadside food stall with fresh produce. The 40 small wineries in Swan Valley all have something or the other that would delight you. Most people just dine alfresco with a great view of the vineyards. Visitors can even pack their own lunch and have a picnic at the national park. If you don’t want to walk the whole distance, but still want to explore the whole area, you have the option to cycle the Heritage Trail, explore the region in a romantic carriage, gourmet cruise, or a chauffeured limo. But don’t let this charming place distract you from all the things to do in Swan Valley.
अधिकAs one of the inner city parks of the city, Kings Park attracts more than 6 million tourists every year. One may wonder what is so special about a park. The place is one of the few areas that have managed to showcase together the beautiful Australian flora. You may think that picnics, walks and cultural events was all that came under things to do in Kings Park, but there is so much more that can be explored which brochures miss out. You would be surprised the small, and somewhat significant little avenues that are situated inside Kings Park. For instance, the Kokoda Track Walk which many do not know is a tribute to the Australian troops who fought in Papua New Guinea. Visitors are often seen strolling around admiring the skyline, and the glimmering Swan River. If you get tired you can even step in the Stickybeaks Café. This is situated in the Lotterywest Family Area, and is in close proximity to the Watson Playground. These may make a couple of things to do in Kings Park; they are definitely not the sum of everything that you can enjoy on your visit to this 400 hectare green land.
