Where is India?

India is the seventh largest country in the world that is located in South Asia. It is the second most populous country in the world after China. The history of the country spans back five millennia where it formed part of different ancient civilizations. It is bounded by the Indian Ocean to the south, Bay of Bengal to the south east, and the Arabian Sea to the west.
