Jinshan Temple was originally called Chak Heart Monastery, also known as the Longyou Temple. In the Qing dynasty, Kangxi gave it the name "Jiang Tian Temple," and that name is still in use today. Jinshan Temple, located northwest of Zhenjiang, breaks the rule of temples facing south. Because of the Yangtze River, which is located in Jinshan, the local area is scenic. The temple also has a unique architectural style to accompany its stunning atmosphere and the local natural beauty.
